The model for this session was Gary. There aren't a lot of male models in comparison to female and usually one learns more about the skeleton and musculature from male models, assuming they're in shape. Even thin females have more smoothed contours.

Life drawings 15 April 1997

 I've been going over some of my life drawing sketchbooks and thought I would post some of them. These are from one session in April of 1997. The original size of the sketchbook is 14" x 17". For this particular session the sketchbook doesn't have any quick warm up drawings although I may have done those on loose sheets. The model for this session was Elizabeth. From top to bottom the media was charcoal, Conte sepia, charcoal, ink and pencil.
