Norman and Neva

Norman and Neva oil on canvas 44" x 96"

I previously featured a detail of this painting on this blog. I don't usually include larger paintings because the blog is intended to feature small art works. This painting was accepted into the California State Fair fine arts competition and was given an Award of Merit. It also received a Publisher's Award from Inside Publications and this month is featured as the cover art on the Land Park edition of Inside magazine. You can see it here: http://www.insidepublications.com/digital/ .

O'Neill Forebay

O'Neill Forebay watercolor 6" x 8.6"

Another old painting, this one from 1990. Part of the state water project, O'Neill is popular with windboarders. This view was from a point with shallow water, hence the mud flats in the painting.
